The Saugerties Youth Hockey Association and Kiwanis Ice Arena Learn to Skate Program is a fun filled weekly session for boys and girls ages 4 to 10. The program emphasizes basic skating skills and hockey fundamentals.
**If your child has completed Learn to Skate and is 6 years or older we recommend moving to X-ice**
The Learn to Play Hockey cost is $90. All players must also register with
USA Hockey and the cost is $30 (except birth year 2005 and after). The sessions are Saturday morning's at 8:15am- 9:15am and the season runs until March.
The program is large and we have a very good coach to skater ratio. Saying that this is not a one on one skating lesson.
