X-ice Program

The Saugerties Youth Hockey X-ice program is for the younger players ready for team play. This program is designed to focus on team and individual game play, with small sided (3 vs. 3) games in a cross-ice format.

USA Hockey is a strong proponent of X-ice and has released the new American Development Model (ADM) for hockey. The ADM is a method of building hockey skills in younger players by reducing the size of the ice sheet and increasing the amount of play and players in game situations.
